My Husband is the BEST!!

So I have to brag a little about Chris. Yesterday tickets to the Tim Mcgraw concert went on sale. I know I shouldn't buy tickets on Sunday but they go on sale on Sunday and his concerts usually sell out quite quickly so I didn't want to take that chance. All of you know how much I enjoy Tim's music and his concerts are always tons of fun!! So I was on the computer trying to get the BEST seats possible (Which translates to the closest seats possible). I wasn't having much luck. I kept getting the 1st deck but in the corners and like 23 rows up, not on the sides. So Chris hops on the laptop and says, Hey I have floor seats, 18th row. I was shocked, I ran into the other room and couldn't believe it. I don't know how he was able to get those seats and I wasn't but, needless to say he found and purchased the tickets so He bought me 18th row seats to Tim Mcgraw and I am so excited!

Things that make you go hmmm

I have always had a hard time understanding Kyle and I thought it was because of his language barriers. But after a conversation with him tonight, it reminded me of other conversations I have had with him. I came to the conclusion that it's because most of his conversation topics come out of thin air. Completely random that don't have anything to do with other things being discussed so I am unable to understand him most of the time. (Plus it doesn't help that he always leaves out the verbs in every sentence.) Anyway, as most of you know, Kyle has always had these mini conversations with my dad long after his passing. We are working on his second year now and Kyle will still see him every now and again in the clouds. Well tonight out of nowhere he asked me where Papa's house was. Well, knowing exactly who he meant (my dad), I asked him "Papa who?" He said Papa Tom (my dad). I told him that Papa didn't have a home. And he asked me again. "Where's Papa's house?" Again I told him that Papa didn't have a house. Now he's growing agitated with me and he asked, mad this time. "Where is Papa's House." So, I said him "I don't know what house you are talking about because grandpa died so he doesn't have a house anymore." Then he says to me that Papa's house is in Heaven. And I asked him "Grandpa lives in a house in heaven?" And he said "Yes, who built it?" I had to laugh at this point, a little frustrated because he seemed to know more than me at this point and I didn't know how to answer it because I know he would correct me anyway so I told him that I didn't know who built it. And asked him "Do you?" and He said "Jesus built it. He's an angel now and angels need a place to live too." It makes you wonder how much a five year old may still remember, after passing through the Vail.

Hopping on Board

OK you all win. I've officially attached myself onto your train. I will be your caboose for the time being. So this will be my first entry, and an update on our family. Michayla is in the 5th grade and attends Happy Valley Elementary. She will be 11 on March 30th. This year for her birthday I am taking her and 8 of her friends to a hotel for an overnight. We will be playing/solving a Mystery game. Tyler is also in the 5th grade and attends Eagle Peak Montessori. He is playing Baseball this year and Chris is one of his coaches. He loves to play baseball and his team is looking really good. We have a good chance of fighting for 1st place. That means an extra long season though. Kyle is in a Pre-K program at Loma Vista Adult Ed. He goes to Speech Therapy twice a week, and Occupational Therapy once a week. He is playing T-Ball again this year. He is on the Giants, and Tyler is on the A's. So we have rivals in our home. Kyle is very excited to be on the Giants though. He will be going to Kindergarten in the Fall. Riley Jo- said Mommy for the first time yesterday. She's been saying it ever since, she says it so cute too. I LOVE it. It especially makes me happy since she is 15 months and Kyle didn't even say Ma until right before his 2nd birthday. She already says Ty, Hi, Bye, Mommy, DaDa, Dog, John, UhOh (the doctors count this as a word not a sound, weird), and a sound that sounds like she's saying What. It's cute because if you ask her a question that's when she makes that sound, so we just keep repeating our question. Then she laughs at us. Riley Jo is learning so fast. Kyle loves to be chased and tickled, so when we start chasing him, she gets our attention and gives us this look like, don't forget about me. Then she starts running too. She loves to be tickled too. I guess this is all for now. In all my craziness I hope to update once a week. As Brittany said, a Sunday activity.
